Cinderella Fund
The PAWS Cinderella Fund provides emergency or specialized medical care for shelter animals that are sick or injured. The fund covers the cost of procedures that exceed what the city budget allows for, such as surgery, oral care, vaccinations, physical therapy and specialized vet care. It is a lifesaving alternative to euthanasia for shelter animals in need of costly healthcare.
The Cinderella Fund also pays “board and train” fees for dogs who need special training. Like “boot camp” for dogs, board and train is intensive two-week residential program where dogs learn obedience, good manners and social skills. It also helps dogs overcome problem behaviors like aggression, anxiety, reactivity or fear. For $1,500, a single dog graduates from the program equipped to be a well behaved, adoptable pet.
